Hermes,
What tremendous value we have found, so much value. But the purse strings are tight, and the wallet is light. Who is able to cure such a thing? Who would take heaven’s value and bring it so low so that it could be seen by volgar eyes and grasped by greedy hands?
Is the lowering of value into matter not a sin of impiety? Could it be a good calling? Does it enrich the Earth (Anthropos)? Could it diminish heaven? —No, heaven remains eternal and unchanging, for we live and then die past the eternity of the gods.
